Vintage Cartier Tank Basculante “Reverso” 2405 - 24mm - 2002

The Cartier Tank Basculante Ref. 2405 is one of Cartier’s most distinctive reversible designs, inspired by the original Basculante models from the 1930s. Its elegant rectangular case can swivel within the frame, combining Art Deco styling with a practical and playful construction. This particular example was produced in 2002 and features the later applied Cartier boutique signing “JK 02.6.17” on the reverso side. The watch is powered by the Cartier quartz caliber 059 movement, which was fully overhauled in May 2026 and runs and functions excellently. It comes fitted on its original pink Cartier crocodile leather strap with the original Cartier folding clasp, and additionally includes a brand new brown leather strap with a crocodile grain motif and subtle glossy finish. The overall condition of the watch is extremely good, showing barely any visible signs of wear.
