Vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer Date Japan Edition ST 168.0056 - 35mm - 1973

This vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer, produced in 1973 for the Japanese market, carries reference ST 168.0056. It features a steel case with its original polish fully intact. The light gray dial has a vertical brushed finish and remains in perfect condition. The caseback also retains its original polish, though it shows light scratches.

Inside is the caliber 1011 automatic movement, serviced in November 2025 and currently running great, even within chronometer-certified standards. The case, dial, crystal, hands, and crown are all in excellent shape.

We’ve paired the watch with an unpadded black calf leather strap featuring a crocodile grain. While it could make as a near-mint condition dress watch, the steel case also makes it suitable for daily wear. Overall condition is excellent.
