This vintage Omega Genève Megaquartz, produced in 1973, features a striking blue sunburst dial with tritium lume plots that have developed a light patina at the 8, 10, and 11-hour markers—a common trait for this dial variant. The rest of the dial remains in excellent, visually untouched condition. Aside from a new black calf leather strap, the watch is entirely original. It houses the Omega caliber 1310 Megaquartz movement, which runs and functions well apart from the quickset button for weekdays being non-functional, but the days still change automatically every 24 hours and can be set manually by advancing the hands 24 hours. This issue was left unserviced to keep the sale price significantly lower making this a great deal. Measuring 39mm wide, this piece suits larger wrists and stands out as a collectible example of 1970s Omega design.
Weekdays are displayed in French.
