Vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic Tropical Champagne dial 166.011 - 36mm - 1966

A beautiful vintage Omega Seamaster from 1966, featuring a larger than average case at 36mm instead of the more common 34.5mm, giving it a stronger wrist presence. What truly sets this piece apart is its originally white vertically brushed dial, which has developed an almost fully even champagne tropical patina over time, caused by natural exposure to elements such as sunlight and moisture, creating a unique look highly sought after by collectors. The dial is complemented by elegant steel dauphine hands and matching steel accents, along with a date window at the 3 o’clock position. Inside runs the automatic calibre 565 movement, serviced in April 2026 and now running and functioning excellently. We have paired the watch with a top-grain brown crocodile leather strap, which suits the warm tones of the dial beautifully. The overall condition of this piece is excellent, making it a truly exceptional collector’s item.
